Isis Wisdom

Isis Wisdom is the CEO of grass roots media power house Word On The Streets Magazine, WordOnTheStreetsmag.com & WODS Radio, based out of Atlanta Ga. Isis Wisdom is no stranger to the music industry. The former Maryland, DC native relocated to Atlanta 5 years ago and hasn't looked back since. Upon breaking into Atlanta, Isis hit the ground running by planting her professional roots deep as a Journalist and entrepreneur. "Establishing contacts and building relationships was the focus of what I wanted to do" says Isis.As well as make people respect me as a real journalist touching on real issues that affect our community through the use of hip-hop.This same strategy has since blossomed into an independently owned media company that lays claim to breaking many underground artists and independent labels. While building her brand through media exposure and word of mouth, Isis continued to
expand her loyal following by covering subjects such as film, politics, community, health and urban music in her publications. Isis mission for 2008 is to expand her companies by attracting a greater pool of consumers. She plans to put her solid position in the music scene to good use by informing and educating unsigned acts and labels.
Note; Isis is also a member of the Core DJS, promotion and marketing director for the Mixxbosses and a partner of the Hood Hard Day DJ music conference thats held twice a year.
